About the PTCO
As a parent or guardian of a child attending Erie Elementary, you are a member of the PTCO (Parent, Teacher, Community Organization). There are many ways you can help us, and everything is appreciated, no matter how big or small the contribution. We are always looking for volunteers for events and project, as well as ideas and input from fellow members. As we are a non-profit 501(c)3, your monetary donation is often tax deductible (check with your tax adviser for details). In addition, check with your employer - many companies will match funds for employee donations to non-profits.
Through fundraising efforts and donations we receive, we are able to provide the school with many wonderful things. Funds raised help to provide assistance with classrooms supplies, field trips, library books, and much more.
Our Mission: to maintain and cultivate a relationship between Erie Elementary School and the parent's, family's and community invested in the students of our school. To encourage communication, togetherness and to provide resources to the school that are not sufficiently available but deemed necessary or desirable by the staff for the support and education of the students. To support and assist in the welfare of the students and enhance their educational experience by supporting academic and enrichment activities while improving the school environment by providing financial and volunteer support.
