Board Members

We are so excited to be the PTCO Board members for the 2021-2022 school-year! Our goal is to increase parent involvement & participation, revitalize & re-energize the PTCO, and support the students and staff at Erie Elementary the best we possibly can. We are looking for suggestions and input from students, staff, and parents as we begin to make plans for next year. If there is anything you'd like to share with us (ideas, suggestions, ways to support you, constructive criticism, etc.), please feel free to contact any/all of the Board members info@eesptco.com . In order to help you get to know us better, here is a little information about the five of us....

VICE-PRESIDENT

Tabitha Steiner

Hi! My name is Tabitha Steiner and this is my first year on the PTCO board. I will be serving as Vice-President, and am so excited to become more involved with the school and to be a part of such an amazing organization to help serve Erie Elementary students, teachers, and families!

We have lived in Erie for 4 years, and are so grateful to be a part of this community. In addition to being on the PTCO board, I work as a mental health therapist here in Erie, and am very passionate about and committed to fostering the health and wellness of our town!

My husband, Evan, and I have two kiddos Theo (3) and Esme (1), and have a third baby joining us this summer! Our son, Theo, just wrapped up his first year at EES in pre-K and we are looking forward to another decade + of having kids at this incredible school. Even with the challenges of the 2020-2021 school year I was so amazed at all the things the PTCO was doing to bring our school community together, and I’m excited to be a bigger part of that this coming year!

SECRETARY

Brooke Strah

Hi my name is Brooke and this will be my first year serving on the PTCO board. My husband and I have lived in Erie for almost three years now and have loved every minute. The small town community feel as well as having the neighborhood school is what drew us to Erie Elementary. We have three girls, Emerson(2nd) Mercy(1st) and Hazel(3yrs). During COVID I decided to stop working my job of 10 years as a CNA and stay home to care for the girls as well as another little girl twice a week. My husband is a PE teacher at Niwot high school. Together as a family we love tending to our community garden, taking bike rides, eating lots of Sweets ice cream and basically doing anything together. We are also really involved in our local church Calvary Bible.

I am so excited for this year as I have been looking for opportunities to be more involved in the school. With the option of open enrollment we could have gone to any local school and I can say without a doubt we are SO glad we chose Erie Elementary. I am looking forward to connecting families to their teachers more and creating an experience where all feel loved, cared for, and heard.

FUNDRASING
Dusti Jakober

With my 3rd year serving as Fundraising Chair for the EES PTCO board, I hope to welcome and encourage our new families to get involved! We have had a long standing goal of keeping our community close which continues to make our school unlike any other in Colorado! I am most excited to get back to hosting family-focused events and activities, to support our teachers and staff well, and to encourage fun!!! My husband and I have 3 children, our daughter, Gemini, oldest son, Leo and our youngest son, Oden all attending EES this year! I am beyond blessed to be a part of the EES family and excited to provide support in all the right places!

EQUITY ADVOCATE
Laci Williams

My family and I moved to Erie in 2019. My husband, Maximilian, and I have two boys at EES, Taj (3rd) and Cruz (5th). Coming from Los Angeles, it has been a big change but we have enjoyed getting to know our new community.

I was very encouraged when the PTCO created the Equity Advocate position. I believe that every child should feel seen, valued and included at school. Although this position is new, it enforces EES passion to be fair and impartial with every student. I’m honored to partner with the families at EES, to listen to concerns and suggestions, and then actively facilitate change and bring awareness in our school.
