Why is the Jog-A-Thon so Important?
For those new to our school, the Jog-A-thon is a super fun, all day event in which students take turns running laps around the EES field with their classmates. Donations are collected from family members, neighbors, and we are always looking for local business support!
What is the PTCO?
As a parent or guardian of a child attending Erie Elementary, you are a member of the PTCO (Parent / Teacher / Community / Organization)! We are a non-profit 501(c)3, so your monetary donation is often tax deductible (check with your tax adviser for details). In addition, check with your employer - many companies will match funds for employee donations to non-profits.
How will Your Donation be Used?
Proceeds from the Jog-A-Thon directly benefit our school, our teachers and our students. The PTCO provide grants to teachers to supply their classrooms, grants for field trips, funding for technology purchases and school-wide events like Avid-4-Adventure, the Spring Carnival, the Talent Show and more!
The Jog-a-Thon is Erie Elementary's biggest fundraiser of the year! Your donation helps us provide grants for teachers and to purchase classroom supplies and technology. We also fund Avid-4-Adventure, field trips, and other great events throughout the school year!
